US persons: nothing published about US citizens, and a £100,000 minimum
Alltrust publishes nothing about US citizens, so its position is unstated rather than open. One hint that US-connected members are not new to it: its own fee schedule lists a Flexi SIPP (US) among the books it administers, which it took on with the Rowanmoor transfer. It normally works through advisers and takes direct business only where you evidence its knowledgeable investor requirements.

Why this is the rule
SIPP US tax
The treaty generally lets a UK SIPP grow tax-deferred for US purposes, but the protection has limits. How the US treats contributions, growth and drawdown.
TaxUS-UK tax treaty
The US-UK treaty stops most double taxation, but the saving clause lets the US tax its citizens almost as if it were not there. What survives the clause.
TaxForm 3520
A UK pension held in trust can be a foreign trust to the IRS. Rev. Proc. 2020-17 exempts qualifying retirement trusts from Forms 3520 and 3520-A, on conditions.
